Sardinia, a small island about 120 miles off of the coast of Italy, hosts the world's highest percentage of people over 100 in the world. This longevity is attributed to a Mediterranean diet of goats milk, beans, red wine and whole grains in addition to an active lifestyle that involves a lot of walking.
