Sunburn in young kids can put them at risk of skin cancer later in life
SCOTS parents are increasing the risk of their children developing skin cancer in later life by not protecting them properly in the sun.
New research has revealed that a quarter of parents with kids under the age of 10 allow their youngsters to become sunburned while holidaying abroad, with 62 per cent admitting that it tended to happen on every holiday.
Furthermore, one in seven of the adults taking part said they often left their children to take care of their own sun protection.
The research carried out by travel company www.sunshine.co.uk also found that 67 per cent of people admit to becoming “angered” by other parents who let their children become burned
