Okay, so the little velvet bean of a panda cub may not really be smiling. But, since our human propensity is to anthropomorphize, she looks like she is smiling to me — and probably to you — and consequently, just looking at these photos made me smile big and wide. And I do know my smile is real and likely so will be yours. So enjoy these photos from the Taipei Zoo of what looks like a newborn panda grinning a big Buddha-like smile, giggling and just enjoying the miracle of being alive!
