Canadian military explored plan to fully integrate forces with U.S

Canadian Forces depart for a special operation at Sanjaray in Kandahar province, Afghanistan in May 2009. CBC News has learned that top generals from Canada and the U.S. considered a plan to integrate forces.

The Canadian military efforts were ultimately shut down and refocused on improving interoperability between the forces.
