nquest hears doctors originally feared Nathan Greenway - who died after brushing against deadly plant - was suffering from Ebola disease
A gardener killed by deadly Devil's Helmet at a £4m estate was originally diagnosed as one of Britain's first cases of ebola, an inquest heard.
Nathan Greenway died last year while tending the flowerbeds on the Hampshire estate of a high-flying businessman after handling the highly-poisonous plant.
The 33-year-old, an experienced gardener, collapsed hours after brushing against the Aconitum - also known as Monkshood - growing in the grounds at Christopher and Katherine Ogilvie-Thompson's home.
An inquest heard he was preparing the garden for a party when it is believed he brushed against the plant while clearing weeds.
Hours later, he suffered sickness and diarrhoea and, after being transferred to hospital, doctors were initially worried he was suffering from Ebola.
An international Ebola outbreak sparked panic in the UK around the time of Mr Greenway's illness, when a handful of cases were reported across the country.
