Every year you end up spending tons of money on decorations and we've decided to help you save some. Here's a simple Do-It-Yourself project for your home decorations that you can involve your family in and make it a fun weekend thing. This is the month for festivities and you want to create a happy surrounding in your home, something that spells spirit.
What You Need:
1. Different coloured Crochet Threads

2. 1 cup of Liquid Starch
3. Half cup Flour
4. Balloons
5. String
Instructions:
Step 1: Create a mixture of the starch and flour. You could blend it in a blender. The mixture, essentially, acts as a stiffener.
Step 2: Blow up your balloons.
Step 3: Dip the crochet thread in the mixture and allow it to soak it in. Don't just throw it in but coil the string as in the picture so you don't have to deal with any messy knots.
Step 4: Wrap the string around the balloon in a pattern of your choice
Step 5: Wipe off any excess mixture.
Step 6: Pop the balloon after the string is dried which is likely to take several hours. You can use a pin to scrape off any more excess dried mixture.
Step 7: Remove the balloon
Step 8: Put the string through the egg and glue it on the string. Do that with all your coloured eggs and the final result is a colourful wall hanging decoration.
You could even put lights in them if you like.
