This morning there was a press conference about the new taxi service to be launched in Bangkok. It is operated by Nakhon Chai Air. The yellow taxis are Toyota Prius Hybrid, which is an electric mid-size hatchback. The test run will start on 20 April after the Songkran holidays.
Then in May they will start with a fuller service. To call them, you will be able to use an app on your smartphone or by calling the hotline. The service charge for this is 20 Baht.
